Plot Summary:
In Chicago, the former photographer and now advertising manager Mathew (Josh Hartnett) closes a business in an imagination restaurant with a Chinese representative if he sees a woman who looks like his former passion Lisa (Diane Kruger). Two years ago Lisa and Matthew had a flirtation, and Lisa simply disappeared when Matthew invited them to move with him to New York where he had the invitation for a better job, and Matthew is still tormented for them. Matthew decides to follow Lisa, and if he meets them, he understands that Lisa is really another woman (rose Byrne) with the same name. Matthew remains in Chicago with his friend hatch (Matthew Lillard) and decides to examine the mystery.
In Chicago, dem ehemaligen Fotografen und jetzt Werbemanager Mathew (Josh Hartnett) schließt ein Geschäft in einem Fantasierestaurant mit einem chinesischen Vertreter, wenn er eine Frau sieht, die wie seine ehemalige Leidenschaft Lisa (Diane Kruger) aussieht. Vor zwei Jahren hatten Lisa und Matthew eine Liebelei, und Lisa verschwand einfach, als Matthew sie einlud, sich mit ihm nach New York zu bewegen, wo er die Einladung für einen besseren Job hatte, und Matthew noch für sie gequält wird. Matthew entscheidet sich dafür, Lisa zu folgen, und wenn er sie trifft, begreift er, dass Lisa tatsächlich eine andere Frau (Rose Byrne) mit demselben Namen ist. Matthew bleibt in Chicago bei seinem Freund Luke (Matthew Lillard) und entscheidet sich dafür, das Mysterium zu untersuchen.
