Plot Summary:
More full of fame more classically musical film. In 1927: Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are the darlings of the quiet silver screen. Offscreen, Don, helped by his unconcerned friend and piano companion, Cosmo Brown, must make way the romantic Ouvertüren of Lina especially if he is taken in by girl of the choir Kathy Selden. With the Advent of the tone in films it is decided, around Don and the new film by Lina in *quot; Tonfilm*quot; and to transform a musical one in it. The only problem is the voice of Lina whom bare words cannot describe. Thus Kathy is caused to synchronise her speech and song voice in the secret, and Don on top in the world. But then Lina finds out.

Offscreen, Don, geholfen von seinem unbekümmerten Freund und Klavier-Begleiter, Cosmo Brown, müssen den romantischen Ouvertüren von Lina besonders ausweichen, wenn er auf Mädchen vom Chor Kathy Selden reinfällt. Mit dem Advent des Tons in Filmen wird es entschieden, um Don und den neuen Film von Lina in einen "Tonfilm" und einen musikalischen daran zu verwandeln. Das einzige Problem ist die Stimme von Lina, die bloße Wörter nicht beschreiben können. So wird Kathy verursacht, um ihr Sprechen und Singstimme im Geheimnis, und Don oben auf der Welt zu synchronisieren. Aber dann findet Lina heraus.
