Plot Summary:
Jack Elgin is the European publisher of the Economist, who is based in London, England. Jack has a wife called Maria and three children called Joanne, Julia, and Andrew. Jack sutilmente modifies every holidays of family of a lazy week of amusement Mediterranean and sun in the Island of Corfú, Greece, to a travel of India, because of a history that he will cover. Maria is not so impressed by this as the children are. Jack himself imagined a possibility to work simultaneously a nomination of easy report and to spend a little quality time with his family. But on the way of India, the airplane, approximately 747 had by HEALTHY Air, an American air company, does a stop in travel not planned in the Limassol the Cyprus, because of a mechanical problem. Shortly of waiting inside the airport of Limassol, everyone returns in the airplane *mdash; what then is sequestrated by a group of terrorists known like the Movement of the 15th of August, driven by a Serbian man called Ivanic Loyvek and his right man Karadan Maldic. And they are demanding 50.000.000 of dollars of the state-owned Department of the United States during one hour, or everyone in the airplane will die. The demand is satisfied, and Loyvek and Maldic begin to launch the women and children, with the men to go last. But as soon as a front door of passengers is opened, a shot of team of local police officer of the terrorists opens the fire. The servants of flight frantically open the rest of the doors of the airplane and begin the passengers’ attainment, but the terrorists begin to kill passengers, leading to an explosion. Maria, Joanne, and Julia leaves from the airplane, and soon Jack, maintaining Andrew, takes away *mdash; only to look at Maria, Joanne, and they are shot Julia by the terrorists. Jack tries to hide Andrew’s face so he cannot see it. Maria and Joanne are killed, and Julia is still *mdash lively; but Julia burns herself to the death shouting to the help. Jack and Andrew survive. In total, a total of 15 passengers dies, and Loyvek and Maldic, the surviving terrorists, drives away, knowing that they now have 50.000.000 of dollars. The sequestration would never have finished this way if the team of police officer had waited until the passengers were launched of the airplane before acquiring happy trigger. Backwards in London, they tell to Jack absolutely devastated that the terrorists were captured, but they were launched and deported secretly, without loads and any detention, the result of a little of terribly busy politics. Jack is compreensivelmente infuriated that Loyvek and Maldic left unpunished. Helping cape of Andrew, Jack it tries all the legal ways of securing the justice of his family, but in vain. Jack even rewards a visit to Henry Davidson, an agent of CENTRAL AGENCY OF INTELLIGENCE who works in the American Embassy in London. Davidson tells to Jack that there is somewhat that can be done. Obviously, the American and British governments are completely impotent when he comes to go after Loyvek and Maldic, so Jack has not absolutely any choice in the matter. He must do it he itself. The help of his mechanic’s friend of ex-intelligence Kate Stockton, who is quite polite in the most perfect points of the international intelligence, Jack is an anti-terrorist squad of an alone man, who looks for Loyvek and Maldich. The pursuit of Jack’s track is the agent of agency of the Department of Justice American Jules Bernard, who is cooperating with the Yard of Scotland in anti-terrorist activities, and who suspects that Jack is the man who was killing someone implicated in the sequestration. But like result, Jules is in Jack’s side, and he is disposed to help Jack making those paid responsible of the deaths of his family and another people who died in the Cyprus.

Daqui a pouco de esperar dentro do aeroporto de Limassol, todo o mundo regressa no avião *mdash; que então é seqüestrado por um grupo de terroristas conhecidos como o Movimento de 15 de Agosto, conduzido por um homem sérvio denominou Ivanic Loyvek e o seu direito homem Karadan Maldic. E eles estão exigindo 50.000.000 de dólares do Departamento estatal dos Estados Unidos durante uma hora, ou todo o mundo no avião morrerá. A demanda é satisfeita, e Loyvek e Maldic começam a lançar as mulheres e crianças, com os homens para ir últimos.
