Plot Summary:
Wanting to avoid life of city of the rural zone, New Cooper Yorkers Tilson (Quaid), his wife Leah (Stone) and his two children move in an old decadent mansion still filled of the possessions of the prior family. To convert of him at his home of dream soon is a lively nightmare when the prior owner (Dorff) is outstanding, and series of horrifying incidents drive them in an inquiry that jingles the bone of traces to the dark past and lúrido of the property.
Querendo evitar vida de cidade da zona rural, Novo Tanoeiro Yorkers Tilson (Quaid), sua esposa Leah (Pedra) e as suas duas crianças movem-se em uma velha mansão decadente ainda enchida das posses da família prévia. Converter dele na sua casa de sonho logo fica um pesadelo vivo quando o proprietário prévio (Dorff) se destaca, e uma série de incidentes horripilantes conduz-os em uma pesquisa que tine a espinha de pistas ao passado escuro e lúrido da propriedade.
