Plot Summary:
Rannulph Junnah is the best golfer in Savannah. He saw well and has a girl, Adele Invergordon, who is the girl of a rich landowner. The First Worldwide war beginning, however and Junnah go in Europe to struggle. The only survivor of a dangerous mission, Junnah does not come back to Savannah for 15 years. In 1930, it comes back and the father of Adele already committed suicide during Depression. Having pressurized by the tax inspectors to sell the course of golf his father constructs to reimburse debts, Adele, now older, swears bring in Savannah the biggest match never played on the biggest course of golf, his last father. It is able of gathering the biggest 2 golfers of their time, Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen to play for $10,000. The townspeople want to have *quot; one of their propres*quot; also compete and Rannulph Junnah is gathered. Junnah shows with the beggars now and is an alcoholic, as he lost his genuine swing of 15 years ago. At the beginning it rejects offer. It accepts its old clubs and bowls and begins practising. It lost its capacity. Suddenly, Bagger Vance manifests himself. It offers to be the caddy of Junnahs and to help it to recover sound *quot; swing authentique*quot;. It makes and Junnah agrees to play in big match.
Rannulph Junnah est le meilleur golfeur dans la Savane. Il vit bien et a une fille, Adele Invergordon, qui est la fille d’un propriétaire foncier riche.
