Plot Summary:
An old man at a nursing home reads a history of an old woman every day. The history which he reads follows two young lovers called Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun. One evening they met in a carnival many years ago. The parents of Allie separate Noah and Allie. They disapprove of the lack of Noah in the wealth, and push away Allie. After the waiting for Noah to write them for several years Allie meets and gets engaged to a pretty young soldier called Lon. In a local newspaper the picture of Noah catches the eye of Allie. It is a standing position before an absolutely restored, house of 200 years old. The article is filled with the praise for his executions. The heart of Allie bursts almost. It was the last spot when she saw this house a rotted dilapidated waddles. She stood wrapped in the arms of Noah in the big entrance and listened to his plans to buy this house and to restore. Just the way wanted them. With her love too still to living Noah the picture moves in her heart. She must go back, see whether Noah o.k. is, and tell to him about her marriage. They both think the echo deeply in her hearts, that which has lasted all these years, it is not divided by other. The shout they could not suffocate. This was not for me to an end.
Ein alter Mann in einem Pflegeheim liest eine Geschichte einer alten Frau jeden Tag. Die Geschichte, die er liest, folgt zwei jungen Geliebten genannt Allie Hamilton und Noah Calhoun. Sie trafen sich eines Abends an einem Karneval vor vielen Jahren. Die Eltern von Allie trennen Noah und Allie. Sie missbilligen den Mangel von Noah am Reichtum, und schieben Allie weg. Sie beide denken das Echo tief in ihren Herzen, derjenige, der alle diese Jahre gedauert hat, wird durch den anderen nicht geteilt. Der Schrei konnten sie nicht ersticken. Das war für mich nicht zu Ende.
