Plot Summary:
The big family of Clock of four thumbs shares a home clandestinely with the family of de-grandeur-normale Lender, *quot; in empruntant*quot; from such articles as the thread, the pins of safety, batteries and the small pieces of food. However, their peaceful coexistence is upset when the mediocre lawyer Ocious P. The potter steals the will granting the title of the home, which he plans to demolish to construct flats. Lenders are forced to move and Clocks face up risk of being displayed in the de-grandeur-normal world.
La grande famille d’Horloge de quatre pouces partage secrètement une maison avec la famille de Prêteur de-grandeur-normale, "en empruntant" de tels articles que le fil, les épingles de sûreté, batteries et les petits morceaux d’aliments. Pourtant, leur coexistence pacifique est dérangée quand le méchant avocat Ocious P. Le potier vole la volonté accordant le titre de la maison, qu’il projette de démolir pour construire des appartements. Les Prêteurs sont forcés à bouger et les Horloges font face au risque d’être exposées au monde de-grandeur-normal.
