Plot Summary: 

The lives of first lieutenant of Viêt Nam experienced Jake Neeley only in a cabin in wood and its only contact with civilisation are by the owner of a small shop, Kate, who gives his supplies periodically. Solitary Jake helps other solitary veterans who live in the forest giving it the part of its reservations and accepting the wood in exchange. When Who suits is visited by that one deprived of his section Henry R. Hocknell, with the cancer of lung, Henry asks him to bring up his Vietnamese daughter Lenny Hocknell. The widow Henry has no family and he will be inflicted in a strict treatment of cancer. Reticent Jake does not say, but Henry leaves his daughter and disappears. Along his contact with the girl, In order improve her behaviour until a tragedy arrives.
