Plot Summary:
Full metal jacket begins by the after tests and tortures of a train of fresh marine infantry corps recruits who concentrate upon the respect between the artillery science sergeant Hartman and private Pyle and joker. We see Pyle in an instrument of the death growing because Hartman forseen from all his recruits has. One is reached by the torture of Pyle and the disaffection of the joker, against it the climax of the part to get up with all three main characters, her destinies by her action or idleness decisively. The second chapter of the full metal jacket becomes engrossed in the soul of the joker and repeated rewild to the fact that he joined to the corps to become a murderer. If his job is disturbed mainly behind the scenery as a fight correspondant by the Tet offensive, he is pushed in the real fight and must choose, finally if he is really a murderer.

Wir sehen Pyle in ein Instrument des Todes hineinwachsen, weil Hartman forseen von allen seinen Rekruten hat. Durch die Qual von Pyle und die Abgeneigtheit des Spaßvogels, dagegen der Höhepunkt des Teils aufzustehen, wird einer mit allen drei Hauptcharakteren erreicht, ihre Schicksale durch ihre Handlung oder Untätigkeit entscheidend. Das zweite Kapitel der Vollen Metalljacke vertieft sich in die Seele des Spaßvogels und das wiederholte wiederwilde zur Tatsache, dass er sich dem Korps anschloss, um ein Mörder zu werden.
