When a space experimental travel wanders, four persons are modified by cosmic rays. The Cane Richards, inventor and leader of the group gains the capacity of stretching his body, and takes the name, Mr.. Fantastic. His friend, Sue Storm, gained the capacity of becoming invisible and creating fields of force, calling the Invisible Woman. His brother the most young Johnny Storm gains the capacity of controlling the fire, including the covering of his body itself with the flame, being the Human Torch. The pilot Ben Grimm is converted in a creation of super-strong rock that is called a Thing. Together, they use his only powers to explore the strange aspects of the world, and to mount the bad plans of the Doctor’s Luck.
Quando uma viagem espacial experimental erra, quatro pessoas são modificadas por raios cósmicos. A Cana Richards, inventor e líder do grupo ganha a capacidade de esticar o seu corpo, e toma o nome, Sr.. Fantástico. A sua amiga, Sue Storm, ganha a capacidade de virar invisível e criar campos de força, chamando-se a Mulher Invisível. Seu irmão mais jovem Johnny Storm ganha a capacidade de controlar o fogo, inclusive a cobertura do seu próprio corpo com a chama, ficando a Tocha Humana. O piloto Ben Grimm é convertido em uma criação de rocha super-forte que se chama Coisa. Em conjunto, eles usam os seus poderes únicos para explorar os aspectos estranhos do mundo, e folhetear os maus planos da Sorte de Doutor.
