After a violent tempest attacks a city in Maine, a cloud going up to mist appears next morning. As the mist quickly envelops the region, a group of people is trapped in a local grocery - among them, the artist David Drayton and his five-year-old son. People soon discover that in the mist saw numerous kinds of horrific living beings, not this world which entered by an inter-dimensional slit, which can or be able to not have been caused by a close military foundation. As the world around them demonstrates in a literal enfer-sur-terre, the try of citizens outraged hopelessly to survive this apocalyptic cataclysm.
Après qu’une tempête violente attaque une ville à Maine, un nuage s’approchant de brouillard apparaît le matin suivant. Comme le brouillard enveloppe vite la région, un groupe des gens est piégé dans une épicerie locale - parmi eux, l’artiste David Drayton et son fils de cinq ans. Les gens découvrent bientôt que dans le brouillard vit de nombreuses espèces de créatures horrifiques, non de ce monde qui sont entrées par une fente inter-dimensionnelle, qui peut ou pouvoir ne pas avoir été provoqué par une base militaire proche. Comme le monde autour d’eux manifeste dans un enfer-sur-terre littéral, l’essai de citoyens scandalisé désespérément pour survivre à ce désastre apocalyptique.
