A masochistic police officer (Maura Tierney), who hides his predilection from her husband of police officer (Terry cloth Kinney), is involved in pursuit of a nicknamed abductor Bait for Harry Houdini (Adrien Brody), who kidnapped a rich woman (Laila Robins) and buried her in Manhattan someplace by asking for a ransom of her husband of magnate (james Naughton).
