Magnolia is the study of nine lives during one day in the valley of San Fernando, California. These nine lives connect everything and turn around the quiz show *quot; what knowledge children? *quot; (WDKK) where a team of three child’s plays is the show against adults and every spot on it there is a new team of adults and the children remains; if they won the previous play. Count’s partridge (late Jason Robards) generated *quot; WDKK*quot; when on the end of the 60s was first. He dies of the brain and lung cancer and becomes paid attention on from Phil Parma (Philip Seymour Hoffman), an orderly. Linda, the trophy woman of the count (Julianne Moore) starts falling in love with the count for real in spite of her deception. Mackey (Tom Cruise) which grew up counts hating, and now a seminar for single men leads which she informs as one entices a woman and leaves them. The host from *quot; WDKK*quot;, Jimmy Gator (hall of Philip Baker), also dies, but not as fast as count. He has a very rocky respect with his daughter Claudia (Melora water) who sniffs in fissure 24/7 and accuses her father of bothering sexually them. Policeman Jim (John C. Reilly) goes to the house of Claudia, called about a disturbance. He falls in love with them immediately. Stanley Specter (Jeremy Blackman) is a competitor on *quot; WDKK*quot; which is a genius and is used by his father to do money. If Stanley and his team continue to win, they will break a record on the show and get metric tons of the money. Is the recording, to hit Stanley tried, the record broken in 1968 by Donnie Smith (William H. Macy) who had exactly the same childhood when he was on the show and has grown up now to be a pathetic loser. It has been dismissed recently by his job, and was tried to find his way in the luck.
