After fact to cause an almost a billion dollar loss in his company, the creator of footwear Drew Baylor (the Brightness of Orlando) decides to commit suicide. However, at the precise instant of his act of despair, it accepts a phone call of his sister saying it that his beloved father had just died in Elizabethtown and he should bring it back since his mother had problem with the parents of his father. He travels in a theft of empty red eye and meets the security guard Claire Colburn (Kirsten Dunst), who changes its view and perspective of life.
Après le fait de provoquer une perte de presque un milliard de dollar dans sa compagnie, le créateur de chaussure Drew Baylor (l’Éclat d’Orlando) décide de se suicider. Pourtant, au moment exact de son acte de désespoir, il reçoit un coup de téléphone de sa soeur le disant que son père chéri venait de mourir dans Elizabethtown et il devrait le rapporter depuis que sa mère avait le problème avec les parents de son père. Il voyage dans un vol d’oeil rouge vide et rencontre le gardien Claire Colburn (Kirsten Dunst), qui change sa vue et perspective de vie.
