At the beginning of the 19th century California the hero of masked fencer Zorro was a champion of the people against the tyranny of the Spanish rule, represented by the merciless Governor Hunter. Regrettably, just before his biggest victory, the liberation of California, Hunter learns of the secret identity of Fox as university teacher Diego de la Vega and attacks the rebel in his exit of house of him imprisoned, his dead wife and his daughter kidnapped to be claimed as the Hunter’s child.
