Tom Stall, modest Familienmann and owner of a popular neighborhood restaurant, lives a quiet, but fulfilling existence in the middle west. One night Tom thwarts a crime on his place of the business and to his annoyance, it is plastered everywhere in the news for his heroics. Following that mysterious people of every movement of the market stalls follow with regard to Toms more than somebody more different. Because of this situation, more lukewarm is faced where all these events have come to bring his marriage, family respect and the former relations of the main characters in the process in embarrassment.
