After his partner Tom Wynne (Terry Chen) and family is apparently killed by the infamous and hardly detectable murderer’s scoundrel (Strahlli), agent is tormented by FBI Jack Crawford (Jason Statham) with the revenge because his world rises in a whirlwind of the guilt and the betrayal. Scoundrel, in the end, resurfaces to put a notch of his own, a bloody crime war between Asian mass rival Chang (John Lone) from and yakuza boss of the triad Shiro (Ryo Ishibashi) taking off. If Jack and scoundrel come, in the end, from face to face, the extreme truth of theirs pasts is revealed.
Nachdem sein Partner Tom Wynne (Terry Chen) und Familie anscheinend vom berüchtigten und schwer erfassbaren Mörder-Schelm getötet wird (Strahlli), wird Agent von FBI Jack Crawford (Jason Statham) gequält mit der Rache, weil seine Welt in einen Wirbelwind der Schuld und des Verrats aufgeht. Schelm schließlich Wiederoberflächen, um eine Kerbe seines eigenen zu setzen, einen blutigen Verbrechen-Krieg zwischen asiatischen Massenrivalen Chang (John Lone) von und Yakuza Chef der Triade Shiro (Ryo Ishibashi) abhebend. Wenn Jack und Schelm schließlich von Angesicht zu Angesicht kommen, wird die äußerste Wahrheit ihres pasts offenbart.
