After another raid in an empty village the boss of the Vikings Timandahaf misunderstands the explanation of his adviser Cryptograf, that *quot; fear wing to the inhabitants gibt*quot; and believes that fear really does the villager’s fly. They decide to go hunting to the master of the fear in nag to find out how one flies and does them invincible warriors. In the meantime, the nephew is sent by Vitalstatistix, Justforkix, from Parisium to the Gaulish village to become a man and Asterix, and Obelix are asked to educate the youngster. The silly son of Cryptograf, Olaf, listens to a conversation of the coward Justforkix with Asterix and Obelix and kidnaps him. While he returns in the Viking’s village, Justforkix Abba, the daughter of Timandahaf hits, and they fall in love for each other. But the Machiavellian and ambitious Cryptograf plan to marry his son Olaf with Abba and to become strong. In the end, Asterix understands that it is not, are afraid, the wing gives, it is love.

Aber die Machiavellistischen und ehrgeizigen Cryptograf planen, seinen Sohn Olaf mit Abba zu heiraten und stark zu werden. Schließlich begreift Asterix, dass es nicht ist, fürchten sich, der Flügel gibt, ist es Liebe.
