| Delores is having an affair with her Mafia boss, Vince. Her career as a singer in Las Vegas is going nowhere and Vince won't divorce his wife and she goes to him to break it off, witnessing a murder Vince just ordered. Running from the club, she seeks police protection. They agree to hide her in the one place Vince would never look for her. | Rowena Price is a muckraking correspondent for a paper of New York. When his history of a closed joyful Senator which preaches stocks of family is pointed, it leaves and soon thinks she is investigated the ugly murder of a friend of childhood. His friend had been poured out according to the exec announcement Harrison the Hill, therefore he is the primordial suspect of Rowena. Rowena accepts a job in the agency of announcement as a temporary secretary and it is soon the object of attention of Hill. It is helped in its subterfuge by Miles Haley, a friend in the paper with a secret thing for her.
