Doctor Dolittle is a world-renowned veterinarian who speaks a wide range of animal languages. It sets vyletevshiy from his home in Puddleby-in-Marsh, England, in search of the Great Pink Sea Snail. At the same time, he and his friends meet such exotic creatures as Pushme-Pullyu and the giant moon butterfly. This musical is a source of hit song "If I could talk to animals."

Being based on a true history, *quot; deals the big Flucht*quot; with the biggest allied escape attempt of a German camp POW during the second world war. The first part of the film concentrates upon the escape strains within the camp and the process to dig secretly an escape tunnel. The second half of the film deals with the massive strain by the German Gestapo to find more than 70 escaped prisoners who are in this point everywhere in the third empire which tries to do her way to England and different neutral lands.
Beruhend auf eine wahre Geschichte, "befasst sich Die Große Flucht" mit dem größten Verbündeten Flucht-Versuch von einem deutschen POW Lager während des Zweiten Weltkriegs. The movie is opened in a house of the top happy, comfortable middle class in Victorian London. One night three children see his father accompanying two strangers in his study. After an argument he leaves with them and does not return. They and his mother’s fall during hard times and finally they move to a field small house in the country. They still keep his spirits and find ways of helping others. Fascinated by the nearby railroad, they wave the passengers faithfully every day, and his alertness and courage prepare an accident. His kindness makes friends of some important persons who can help to solve the mystery of his absent father.
La película se abre en una casa de la clase media superior feliz, cómoda en Londres Victoriano. Una noche los tres niños ven a su padre acompañar a dos forasteros en su estudio. Después de un argumento él se marcha con ellos y no vuelve. Ellos y su caída de madre durante tiempos duros y finalmente se mueven a una casita de campo en el país. Aún ellos guardan sus espíritus y encuentran modos de ayudar a otros.
