Freely based in ‘ a movie of the 50s of the same name, this conta the history of two orphan young boys who travel round them from the Old country to affiliate to the family of his father in Canada. There they find his grandfather of severe supporter of the strict discipline that has been alienated of some of his neighbors. There is in particular no love lost between the grandfather and his Dutch neighbors, which he generalizes as person in charge of the death of his son with the War of Rustic. A product of side of this animosity is that this keeps apart the aunt of the boy and his claimant of Dutch doctor. Two boys change everything although when they find a young baby in the beach.

It discovers a hiding place of papers which look to give a count of murders by an oculomotor witness. Conspiracy bastes between the history of the oculomotor witness and the conflict deprived of Jean with jealousy and suspicion as its marriage wobbles.
