Louie is a New York slums landlord to whom 120 days are given to repair one of his blocks of the flat. The problem for Louie consists in the fact that he must live in the tired block, until the repair is concluded. The father of Louie is the real boss, and he has no intention to pay for the repair. This leaves Louie to live in squaller which his tenants the whole year suffer around.
Louie ist ein New Yorker Armenviertel-Hauswirt, dem 120 Tage gegeben werden, um einen seiner Blöcke der Wohnung zu reparieren. Das Problem für Louie besteht darin, dass er im erschöpften Block leben muss, bis die Reparaturen abgeschlossen sind. Der Vater von Louie ist der echte Chef, und er hat keine Absicht, für die Reparaturen zu zahlen. Das verlässt Louie, um im squaller zu leben, den seine Mieter das ganze Jahr herum erleiden.
