The movie continues where the last one with Marty stuck in 1955. But the Brown Doctor sent to him a letter of 1855 for the Western Union, which said to him that after the Delorean was struck by the lightning that he was sent until 1855 and it was unable to repair it, but it has managed to bury it in some place, where Marty can put oneself to it in 1955 and with hope the youngest version of him can repair it this way he can lead it behind until 1985 and then destroy it. Marty then returns until 1885 to save him and finds his forefathers. After finding the Doctor, they were on the verge of leaving when Marty said to the Doctor that to come the gas tank of Delorean was punctured, of that time they do not have any gasoline to direct the car, which means that they have to find some way of obtaining the car to 88 miles per hour. They decide to try to push it with a locomotive. And the things are thin unless Tannen, who had it in for the Doctor, now has it for Marty and has defied him to the shooting during the day that they are going to leave, and the Doctor is struck by Clara Clayton, the new school teacher.
