Gogol falls loving Maxine Ratliff and moves in with his family, while Ashoke spends the time by travelling and Sonia moves to California, by leaving Ashima all her herself. The Ganguli family will be intended to travel in India once again soon - this time in the drastically different circumstances - and finally endured changeable events of life.

Gogol tombe amoureux de Maxine Ratliff et emménage avec sa famille, pendant qu’Ashoke passe le temps en voyageant et Sonia bouge à Californie, en quittant Ashima tous elle elle-même. La famille Ganguli sera destinée pour voyager en Inde de nouveau bientôt - cette fois dans les circonstances radicalement différentes - et a enfin enduré des événements changeants de vie.
