Spring 1936. In the thick bush of the continent Sudamericano, a re-nominated and expert archaeologist in the occultism it is studying fragments of a map, when one of his party of exploration pulls a weapon. The archaeologist pulls out a bullwhip and with such disarm the renegade, sending it the management - so does the Doctor. Henry *quot; the Indiana*quot; Jones survives. He and a guide introduce a wet and oppressively vast cavern that contains several traps created by the ancient race that was hidden inside a portable famous statue; the Indy openly avoids such traps but it is leaned in the wall by members natives of tribe served by Belloq, an enemy old man who arrogantemente escapes with the statue, while Indy must escape for his life and drives away in the seaplane of a friend. Backwards in ME two agents of the intelligence of Army of the United States tell him of German Nazi activities in the archaeology, including a gigantic siege of digging in Egypt - a siege that an intercepted thread indicates the Indy is the position of the Chest of the Convention, the mighty chest that loads Ten Orders, which the Nazis can use to obliterate any enemy. The Indy must recruit an ancient friend (the daughter of his old teacher) and a friendly intimate old man in Cairo to permeate the Nazi siege and to escape with the Chest, but along the way that Indy is implicated in series of struggles, pursuits, and traps, before the Nazis learn the power full of the Chest.
