Being based on the true history of Henri Charriere, also known as a Papillon who is French for the ‘ butterfly ‘ (the character even sports a big tattoo of a butterfly. An unimportant criminal, Papillon is wrong condemned because of the murder and to the life in a French penal colony in ‘Guiane’ (French Guiana, South America) convicted. Papillon is intended, to flee, but to try, after attempt meets the difficulty, on schließliche regaining running out. He continues his attempts to flee in spite of the custody in the solitary confinement as a punishment.

A dark story based on the true history of Aileen Wuornos, first one of the serial feminine murderers of America. The Wuornos had a difficult and cruel childhood infected by abuse and use of drug in the Michigan. She was a prostitute for the age of thirteen, the same year she was pregnant. She consequently moved to Florida where she began to earn her living as a road prostitute*mdash; maintenance of the drivers’ wishes of semi-lorry. The story is concentrated in the period of nine month between 1989 and 1990, during which Wuornos had a relation Lesbian with called Selby of a woman. Conspiracy bastes between the history of the oculomotor witness and the conflict deprived of Jean with jealousy and suspicion as its marriage wobbles.
