Having been promised ‘ the trip ‘ of a life by their Irish friend and expert of mushroom Jake, a group of American teenagers arrives in Ireland, wailing for adventure. In spite of Jake’s warnings of ‘ shrooms they should not eat, things begin going dreadfully badly and the teenagers are subjected to horrific visions. The thrown into a panic friends are attacked by the living beings of ghost, never sure if they know ugly reality or amazing hallucinations. At the beginning of the 19th century, force of Napoleon controlled the most part of Europe. Among the soldiers are Nicholas Rostov (Jeremy Brett) and prince Andrei Bolkonsky (Mel Ferrer). Pierre Bezukhov (Henry Fonda), a friend of and so-called intellectual of Andrei who *quot; what knows what is right, but always hurts, *quot; is not interested to struggle. Pierre’s life changes when his father dies, by leaving it a vast succession. Marriage quickly finishes when Pierre discovers the true nature of his wife. Andrei is later captured and liberated by the Frenchman and comes back the home only to watch his wife dying in delivery. During a visit in there are the months of country later, Pierre and Andrei meet once again. Andrei sees Natasha and tomb loving, but his father will allow marriage only if they delay it for one year. While Andrei is in Poland on a military mission far, Natasha is drawn to Anatole Kuragin (Vittorio Gassmann), a scoundrel and libertine. Pierre says in Natasha about an past of Anatole before she can run away with him. Napoleon (Herbert Lom) pervades Russia. Pierre visits Andrei on the eve of battle and notices the battle which follows. Traumatized by massacre, it swears kill Napoleon himself.
