Luther Whitney is a professional thief, who works only from time to time. It plans what is assume to be his last job and everything goes slowly until some enter before he can leave. He hides in a secret room and from an one-way mirror sees that it is the wife of the owner of the home whom he steals and another man. They make the fool when the guy decides to enliven things by hitting her, she escapes but he drives her back, she grabs then an opener of letter and is about to stab him when he needs very much assistant when two men enter and kill her. It seems that the man is Alan Richmond, the president of the United States and both men are the secret service reactive allocated to him. Later, a woman, Gloria Russell, who is her Principal private secretary enters and on the training of what arrived, decides to cover it and to make it seem that she is killed by a burglar. Having disinfected the room, they are about to leave but they forget the opener of letter, Whitney comes from the room and takes it and makes its escape, but when they came back for the opener of letter they discover Whitney and hunt it but he escapes. Whitney tries to leave the city, but when he learns just how corrupt and immoral Richmond is he decides to play the games of mind with him and others. Richmond, at the same time, says to them that Whitney must be made hush up permanently.

Late at night, in U unknown man. S. the city, a solitary man sits down in a stopping. A pregnant woman runs by, followed by a man with a gun. Our hero, known only as the Blacksmith, solves to save the child and to teach why the Hertz wants the dead infant. In bordello place, it tries to use a hooker producing some milk to look at the child, but things quickly deteriorate, and this improvised family is soon on running. The heavy music in metal tranquilizes the infant. Why? A laboratory, a plant of gun and a presidential campaign all face in the research of Blacksmith of the ultimate security of the child.

After another difficult night in McCool, the bartender Randy enters running in the Jewel.
