Doctor Wesley McClaren is an immunologist in Ennis, Montana, and he has turned back an offer to join to his friend Richard Bach who lives in Atlanta, Georgia, and is, the head of a unity called the biological Ansprechmannschaft (GRT). Wesley and his daughter Holly live on a farm in Ennis, and a farm worker called frank lives with them. Just above the hill of the farm a dead point of 52 days has ended against the militia leader Floyd Chisolm. Floyd has decided to be his own lawyer in the court. Everybody is shaken if Floyd on the judge Tomkins spits. After hearing Tomkins starts feeling ill. Holly how does them always, hold in the office of Wesley after the school, she can go with Wesley home. On her way home Wesley gets a request of his mobile phone. Wesley hurries to the hospital with Holly and says to her to wait in the hall of the doctors, then Wesley is taken to see Tomkins who looks awful. Wesley is said that Tomkins broke down in his rooms in the courthouse. Wesley sees a policeman’s breakdown, while Tomkins has a seizure. Wesley calls Richard and says to him to send the GRT. Medical army unities are sent, and Ennis is shut up. Wesley says to Frank to remain in the city instead of going to the farm, then Wesley Holly says to remain where she is because the city deals with an outbreak. Richard comes in the city and speaks with Wesley who knows that a kind of toxin has been published. Wesley asks Richard for an antidote, then they go to the room of Tomkins where Tomkins has died. Richard says Wesley that the toxin is a war product called NAM37 which is stronger 10-spot than an anthrax. Richard also says Wesley that an engineer who works for developers NAM37’s stole a big test of the NAM37 and was arrested by the security in accounts, Montana one day, after of the NAM37 was sold to Floyd, but the engineer committed suicide, before somebody could put some questions to him. After the buying of the NAM37 Floyd was infected and started the outbreak, while he spitted on Tomkins. Till present 94 people have been stuck on, and the NAM37 has killed 5 people. Wesley takes a test of the blood of Holly, and Floyd is visited in the prison by his man of the right hand and medical expert Nate Pogue who has also been stuck on. and the antidote Floyd bought together with the NAM37 slows down only the NAM37 instead of being a remedy. The plan of Floyd was to start the outbreak, then use the antidote to itself. Floyd says Pogue to get out him in such a way, they can get the antidote that the army has brought in the city. Later a group returns from men controlled by Pogue to the prison where they kill all guards and get out Floyd. Floyd and Pogue go to the hospital with her men, and they take the hospital hostages in hope for getting the antidote to discover only that the antidote of the army is the same antidote which Floyd bought. Richard explains that there have been times when NAM37 has changed, and if it acts, the antidote does not work. Pogue sees the blood test of Holly, and the test shows that Holly has been stuck on, but anyhow she is o.k., and her body fights against it. Floyd wants Holly found. If one of the men of Floyd Holly finds in the hall and tries to seize them, Wesley hits the man and goes to the farm with Holly and Frankly. The men of Floyd go to the farm of Wesley where Frankly she attacks and kills them everything apart from a man who kills Frankly. Wesley and Holly go away with the body from Frank, and ride her horses to a farm where the grandpa lives on Holly, and they give Frankly a right burial. Wesley takes a blood test of his friend Ann (Whitney yellow evening gown), and just like Holly, the body of Ann fights against the NAM37. Leaving Holly in the house of her grandpa, Wesley and Ann go to a subterranean laboratory in which Wesley maintained to work where they plan to present a remedy. Pogue who is still in the hospital with Floyd thinks that he has found a remedy, but he needs the blood of Holly to isolate it. After Wesley finds the reason, why Ann and Holly are not concerned by the virus, Wesley and Holly go home. where Holly is kidnapped by the men of Floyd. Now Wesley must go to the headquarters of Floyd and save Holly.

Nachdem Wesley den Grund findet, warum Ann und Holly durch das Virus nicht betroffen werden, gehen Wesley und Holly nach Hause. wo Holly von den Männern von Floyd gekidnappt wird. Jetzt muss Wesley zum Hauptquartier von Floyd gehen und Holly retten.
