In Stanley Kubrick's "Paths of Glory" war is seen in terms of power. It is a new version of Cyrano de Bergerac, one of the most famous games of the French theatre, written by Edmund Rostand. Roxanne, played by nice Darryl Hanna, rents a home for summer to look at comets and Charlie leaves himself quickly take her.
