London, 1903: four boys, three women, and J. M. Barrie in the year he writes “to Peter Pan. ” After one of his failures of plays, Barrie finds four boys and his mother becomes a widow in the park. During next months, puerile Barrie plays with the boys daily, and his imaginative plays give him ideas of a play. Simultaneously, a friendship becomes more deep with Sylvia, mother of the boys, to the mortification of his wife Mary, with which he spends a little time (separate rooms), the mother of the widow, and high society, which snoops on his attraction to the widow and to his children. Since Sylvia’s health gets worse, to the boys they strengthen Barrie’s knots and he must find a way of taking his muse to Neverland.
