In the 1099 year, during the Crusades in the 11th century, the Christian soldiers reach Jerusalem and kill the local population. The Christian soldier Charles Le Vaillant is demoralized by the horrors of the war and decides to create a new religious order. This new order reconciles, in a peace-loving way, members of three religions of the region: Christians, Judeus, and Muslims.
