Truman Capote wrote ‘ the novel of not fiction ‘ of which the movie is drawn, using the art of the novelist to give the reality. The reality was this in two to. m. on November 15, 1959 in the rural city of Holcomb, Kansas, four members of the family of Disorder were woken up of his sleep, they tied and had morning sickness, and after brutal way murdered by two unknown attackers. After the apprehension of this one, condemning and imprisonment before the execution, Cape investigated the case thoroughly, worn-out weeks speaking with the prisoners, Perry Smith and Richard Hickock, juries, police officer, friends and neighbors, trying to dig up why such a senseless act was committed, and which response of the society might have been.
